Our Story
PolyCraft Plus began its journey at the start of 2024 — a new chapter and a new adventure for the Mishler family.
For years, I (Ernie) worked in the RV industry and spent most of my free time with horses — training, raising colts, and working with stallions. Horses were a huge part of my life and passion. But on June 20, 2022, that changed when I was severely kicked in the face by a horse, causing major injuries and lasting double vision in my left eye.
After seven surgeries over the course of a year and a half, I knew it was time to take a new direction — one that allowed me to work from home and spend more time with my family.
In the fall of 2023, the opportunity arose to purchase an existing business specializing in poly trim packages and a new, sustainable product called ACRE. That’s how PolyCraft Plus was born.
What We Do
ACRE is a revolutionary, tree-free material made from upcycled rice hulls — the protective outer shell of rice. It’s 100% recyclable, durable, and designed to look and feel like real wood without the drawbacks. ACRE can be painted or stained to match any style and won’t splinter, crack, warp, or rot — making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

What is ACRE?
ACRE is a breakthrough building material made from upcycled rice hulls — the tough outer shells of rice that are usually discarded after harvest. Instead of cutting down trees, ACRE gives new life to this renewable resource by transforming it into a beautiful, high-performance wood alternative.
